Equipment manufacturers never joined the 9-pin party — every brand has its own connector, and some have four. Our OHW cable kits cover the machines your truck cable bag can't touch, matched to Jaltest OHW and TEXA OHW platforms.

Which kit for which platform
Jaltest OHW users: the Jaltest-branded OHW cable kit ($549) covers the full module. TEXA OHW users: TEXA's cable ecosystem matches its OHW license — ask for the machine list first. Cat ET users: you need only the 14-pin and 9-pin leads for CA3 ($189). Mixed platform shops: our universal OHW master kit ($895) covers every brand above with labeled, color-coded leads.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will truck diagnostic software work on equipment if I have the cable?
The cable is only physical access — you also need software that speaks the machine's protocols. Jaltest OHW, TEXA OHW or the OEM tool (Cat ET, Komatsu KOMTRAX Plus) are the real requirements. See the off-highway hub.
Do these cables work with a Nexiq USB-Link 3?
For J1939-based equipment, yes — many newer machines run standard J1939 once you're physically connected. Proprietary-protocol machines need the OEM or multi-brand OHW software to interpret the data.
