System requirements & supported adapters
Windows 10/11 Pro, 8GB RAM. RP1210 mode runs through USB-Link 3/DPA 5 for diagnostics; the genuine IDSS interface is recommended for programming. Gas NPR engine work additionally uses GDS2.

IDSS installs via Isuzu's portal with license-key activation. Remote install included; we walk the first 4HK1 connection and regen with you.

Why does my NPR regen fail even with good soot readings?
The 4HK1 checks coolant temp, fuel level, vehicle speed history and 5th-injector flow before allowing a regen. IDSS displays each precondition; generic scanners just fail. Our regen guide covers the full sequence.
IDSS vs an Autel or Launch tablet for Isuzu work?
Tablets handle read/clear and basic regens on NPRs. Injector programming, precondition diagnostics and parameter work are IDSS territory. Route-heavy Isuzu fleets should own IDSS; occasional Isuzu work is fine on a tablet.
Does IDSS cover the gas NPR?
Chassis and body, yes. The GM 6.6L gas engine is diagnosed with GDS2 — we bundle both for mixed Isuzu fleets.
