ABS lamps fail roadside inspections and sideline trucks. Bendix ACom turns a guessing game into a ten-minute diagnosis: wheel-speed sensors, modulator valves, ECU configurations and — increasingly — Wingman radar calibration after every windshield or bumper job.
Bendix coverage: engines, models and systems
Our Bendix diagnostic coverage spans every current platform and the legacy fleets still on the road. The table below maps the engines and vehicle families you can scan, code and program with a dealer-level setup. If your truck is missing, run it through the compatibility checker or ask us on WhatsApp — coverage updates land monthly.
| Platform | Engines / Systems | Model Years | Dealer Software | Required Adapter |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ABS (air disc & drum) | EC-60, EC-80 controllers | 2005–2026 | ACom AE | USB-Link 3 / RP1210 |
| ESP / stability | Bendix ESP full-stability | 2010–2026 | ACom AE | USB-Link 3 |
| Wingman Fusion | Radar + camera ADAS | 2015–2026 | ACom AE + calibration license | USB-Link 3 |
| Trailer ABS | TABS-6, iABS trailers | 2005–2026 | ACom AE | PLC adapter / USB-Link 3 |
OEM software vs multi-brand: which Bendix setup fits your shop
ACom AE ($495/yr) covers ABS diagnostics, valve actuation tests, sensor validation and ECU configuration across tractor and trailer Bendix systems. The Wingman calibration license adds radar aiming verification — increasingly mandatory after collision or glass work.
Shops that only touch Bendix iron get the most depth per dollar from the OEM package. Mixed fleets usually pair one OEM license with a multi-brand platform — see the OEM vs aftermarket capability breakdown before you spend.
What it costs — real numbers, not “call for price”
ACom AE is $495/yr; add the Wingman calibration capability for $295/yr. Trailer ABS work adds a PLC adapter ($189) for power-line-carrier communication. Full kit with adapter and PLC: $1,795 — about three billed ABS jobs.

Can I diagnose trailer ABS through the tractor's 7-way connector?
Yes — Bendix trailer ABS communicates via PLC (power line carrier) over the 7-way. ACom AE with a PLC adapter reads trailer faults without crawling under the trailer. See the trailer diagnostics hub.
Does Wingman radar need calibration after windshield replacement?
Yes for camera-equipped Fusion systems; radar-only units need aim verification. Fleets increasingly require documented calibration after any front-end work — ACom AE with the calibration license produces that documentation.
What's the difference between ACom and ACom AE?
ACom AE is the current 64-bit platform covering EC-60/EC-80 and Wingman. Legacy ACom (6.x) only reaches pre-2010 EC-30 controllers. We sell AE exclusively.
